The World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria are already a few weeks back now, but shortly after I sat down with Marcel Höche who ran for Team Germany to chat about his experience of wearing the National Team jersey. We talk about the difference between a race of this caliber and makeup vs. UTMB and of course, his exciting racing plans for the remainder of the year.

One of the biggest trail running events in North America just went down in Auburn, California: The Canyons Endurance Runs by UTMB. I have Jeff Urbanski with me to talk about his incredible 12th place finish in the 100 Mile race and I share a bit about my 50K effort, that yes, was not a DNF, how about that.

Karen and Nancy, (and Harold!) will be hosting the Trail Running Film Festival on Nancy’s farm, which is a regular gathering place for trail runners in the Lennox, South Dakota area. When I heard about this fantastic place I had to get Karen and Nancy on the show to hear their story. Harold wasn’t up for being behind the microphone, sadly.
Steve Aderholt, self-proclaimed behind-the-scenes-guy, joins Singletrack to share some incredible backstage info on the making of the Cocodona 250. Refreshed after a backpacking trip to Patagonia, Steve is now gearing up to dive into an insane amount of events management and race directing work. He’s directing the Park City Point To Point mountain bike race and the mighty Cocodona events, but most importantly, he’s the hosting the Trail Running Film Festival in Salt Lake City on March 16th.
