I grew up in the south of Germany where we greet other with ‘servus’ when we meet then on mountain trails or at the bakery. With my family I have lived now for 25 years in the Pacific Northwest where I spend time in city parks, on mountain trails and occasionally run every single street of my hometown. I am the executive director of the Trail Running Film Festival and host a few trail races with my wife at Rock Candy Running.
