Sarah Brooks: Sarah love the trails around the Olympics and Rainier which prepared her for a hard fought finish at the Orcas 50k in 2016; after DNF’ing the prior year. She’s currently recovering from injury but has the stunning Siusalw Dunes 25k race on her horizon for 2020. She leads the local Olympia chapter of the Trail Sisters trail running group and is part of the local OlyTrailrunners.
Brenda Folkert: Brenda’s been splitting her time in running shoes between the road and trails. She’s a weekly run leader and running coach for Club Oly Road Runners. Her favorite trail memory is running along Eagle Creek Trail and can’t wait to get back to Point Defiance Park to run the 50K after previously completing the 15K and 30K.
Brent Miller: Brent has run several ultras in the past and even won one, the Squak Mountain 50k. He also came in second at the inaugural LBA 5 Loop race in 2019. He is most at home running off trail open ridges in the Buckhorn Wilderness and is dreaming of racing UTMB one day. He’s also a contributor to the Ultimate Direction Blog.
